22nd Picnic at Hanging Rock The event takes place at the world famous Hanging Rock Reserve near Woodend, approximately 50 minutes north of Melbourne. The event is primarily for the showing of Vintage, Veteran, Classic and ‘special interest’ vehicles along with Roadsters and Motorcycles. The 21st Annual Picnic in February 2008 attracted more than 2500 entrants as well as more than 10,000 people. The Picnic includes a number of free displays and attractions suitable for all ages, including miniature steam train rides, Rocker Cover Races, games for children, an animal farm as well as a range of presentations from our sponsors. The major sponsor for the 2009 event is LSV (Lumley Special Vehicles).
