Hurstbridge.
Hurstbridge, the home town of Peter Brock, stages
the annual WATTLE FESTIVAL, an important community event which brings
the townspeople and surrounding areas together for a great family day
that celebrates our unique Australian heritage, environment and culture!
In conjunction with this the Peter Brock Foundation
is conducting a fund raising car show…A special call to all American
cars and Australian cars and related clubs!
Let’s see which continent can turn out the most
cars in this trans-Pacific challenge!
Trophies for biggest club display, and best themed
individual car.
STARTS: Show cars are encouraged to participate in
a cruise en masse into Hurstbridge as a feature of the Festival.
The starting point is outside the Ford factory,
Hume Highway, Broadmeadows. Departing at 7.45am. Heading along ring
road, then through Diamond Creek to Hurstbridge. Entry forms and maps
will be hand out. Pre-book car entry $20.00 donation. Limited car
numbers.
WHERE: Incoming cruise (and other late attendees)
to arrive and display at “Brocky’s Barbecue” in Ferguson’s Paddock ,no
later then 9.00am (200 metres from railway station) off Arthurs Creek
Road Hurstbridge.
