KUMBIA SHOW AND SHINE
Kumbia Kindergarten (three hours
from Brisbane QLD
Kumbia is very small and the kindy
has a maximum intake of 13 children, we must fundraise each year to keep
the kindy open.
With major sponsors Ken Mills
Toyota offering $250 big ones to the winner of the Strongman Games the
event looks to pull a big crowd with many Brisbane Car Clubs committing
already making it their Christmas Party Event.
There is a Fashions of the Field
for the ladies and a` Sideshow Alley for the children. The official
after party is open to car nominees only. With band and fun and games
late into the night. Nominations($5) start at 10am at the Kumbia
Showgrounds. General opening to the public is at 12pm.

HERVEY
BAY HIGH SCHOOL SWAP MEET.
Hervey Bay High School Oval
(entrance via Old Maryborough Road, Pialba).
Starts 6am - close 4pm.
Come and help us raise much needed funds for our schools P&C.
* All stall types welcome - car parts, collectables, crafts, plants,
bric-a-brac, 2nd hand etc.
* Vintage Car display
* Friday night camping available (school grounds so NO DOGS, GLASS OR
FIRES)
* BBQ Fri night, BBQ breakfast burgers Saturday morning and then sausage
sizzle and burgers throughout day. Canteen also open Saturday.
* $15 stall fee (12m x 6m), $25 for double site (both includes entry for
2 people)
* $3 entry fee, children under 16 free

Historic Noosa
"The Hill"
Gyndier Drive,
Tewantin. 8:30am - 4:00pm
2009 is the
12th annual running of Historic Noosa Hill Climb
"The Hill". Run over the weekend of the 14 & 15
of November up the picturesque Gyndier Drive at
Tewantin.
"The Hill" is
classed as one of the premier hill climb events
in Australia. It has attracted such notables as
Vern Schuppan, Kevin Bartlett, Dick & Steve
Johnson just to name a few.
With such a
broad range of makes and models competing such
as the Skelta, XU1s, Minis, Fiats, GTs, Jags,
Open Wheel Hill Climb Specials and to many more
too mention. There is sure to be at least one
car that will stir your passion. So gather your
friends and family and come and enjoy the
thrills and spills that are "The Hill".

through to 0:00pm. Admission is $5/head and family passes are
available, with children (0-12 years) accompanied by a parent or
guardian are admitted free.

Moriarity Park, Canungra
For owners and
enthusiasts of Ford XA, XB, XC and Landau coupes
Northsiders
- to meet at Westfield Northlake's Shopping
Centre car park (same meeting area as for last
cruise). This time you will need to be there by
9.00am to leave at 9.30am to cruise down to meet
the southsiders at Browns Plains.
Southsiders
- to meet at Bob Janes T Mart, Grand Plaza
Drive, Browns Plains (again same meeting area)
at 10.00 am. To be joined by the Northsiders by
around 10.30am.
We will aim
to leave Browns Plains at approx. 11.00am to
cruise to Canungra. So don't be late!!!
Estimated
arrival to Canungra would be just before midday
for a BBQ lunch - kindly provided by the Aussie
Coupes Team. Moriarty Sporting Complex is
adjacent to the Canungra Public Swimming Pool.
