the second annual Festival of Italian Motorsport as part of the
final round of the 2010 Top Gear Racing Series.

gorgeous Lake Kurwongbah. The event’s theme remains unchanged, however,
with a celebration of the racing heritage of legendary marques such as
Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Lamborghini, Fiat and Lancia.

one action-packed day incorporating both race and regularity categories
as well as a Show'n'Shine car and bike display.
Other categories competing in the final Top Gear round for 2010 include
Sedans, Sports Cars and Racing Cars (open wheelers). With no entry on
the gate and at least five categories of action, this is one Sunday of
Motorsport not to be missed.

Thanksgiving at Lakeside
Lakeside Park – Lakeside
Road, Kurwongbah
Open to all cars manufactured in the USA,
Thanksgiving at Lakeside will consist of a massive show ‘n’ shine
(more than 500 cars were on display in July, with many more expected in
November), open cruise and club cruise sessions on the legendary
Lakeside circuit and a multi-event track session dubbed the
“tri-carthlon”.
Consisting of an 1/8-mile drag on the main straight, a 950m hill-climb
around Karussell, a 200m slalom around the Eastern Loop and finishing
with a second run on the drag strip, the tri-carthlon gives participants
the chance to line up twice against their mate for bragging rights and
to smoke their tyres without incurring the wrath of the law.
There are only 50 slots available for the tri-carthlon with pre-entry a
must. Entry forms will be available from October 4.
Fourteen clubs already locked in for the show ’n’
shine there will be a vast array of makes and models on display from the
likes of Pontiac, Studebaker, Chevrolet, Ford, Cadillac and Chrysler to
name just a few. Cars from pristine stockers, Sunday cruisers and family
sedans to hot rods, low-riders, drag cars and circuit racers
