2008 Van Nationals – Port MacDonnell
Port
MacDonnell Football Club. Port MacDonnell. South Australia
Port MacDonnell is a seaside
township approximately 25 kilometres from Mount Gambier and is also
450 kilometres from Adelaide or Melbourne. The town is known as the
Southern Rock Lobster Capital and the season is at its best around
Easter.
We have great camping areas
around the oval, new shower and toilet facilities, access to the
club dining room, footy oval, tennis courts and netball courts at
our disposal.
There is plenty to see and do
around the South East area of South Australia, so plan a holiday
with the family. The Tourism Office will be setting up an
information Booth at the Nats Venue (Thursday and Friday) to guide
you to where and what you would like to see and do.
Since we will be in Port and
near the Beach, the theme for the fancy dress night will be
SHIPWRECKED at PORT MAC, so think about Pirates, The Titanic,
Gilligan’s Island, Mermaids, Sea Captains, Sea Creatures and
Tropical Islands, the idea’s are endless.
