Rock & Roll Rendezvous returns on Sunday 13 April 2008.
National Motor Museum Birdwood Jive back in time to the 1950's and 60's in this annual event for cars and bikes manufactured before 1977. A day of fins, chrome, bobby socks, beehives and live rock and roll music and dance. This years event packs a little more grunt with the addition of new muscle car categories to the judging line up. So if you like a bit more muscle with your rock & Roll we have you covered. In another first the 2008 Rock & Roll Rendezvous will be headlined by The Beatles tribute act Let It Be Beatles. It goes without saying that the Fab Four were behind some of the best Rock & Roll music ever written, so make sure you're ready to dance and sing along. The 2008 event has a fantastic line-up of live music including:

This will be held on Sunday, April 27,2008.10.00 am leaving from SA Metropolitan Fires Service HQ at 99 Wakefield Street, Adelaide. Scenic tour via freeway, Ballhannah, Oakbank, Woodside, Charleston, Torrens and onto Birdwood. Entry for NFER vehicles off Blumel Road. A trophy will be presented for the best displayed appliance judged on the day. The finish is at the National Motor Museum at Birdwood. Entry Registration $ 20 per appliance.
