Ingham
Wings and Wheels Airshow

The Ingham Wings and Wheels
Airshow will feature all aspects of aviation, from ultra lights and
gyros to sport, recreational, homebuilt, vintage, Warbird and
possibly Defence aircraft. There will also be a wide range of
restored military vehicles, motorcycles, classic and performance
cars, veteran and vintage vehicles, trucks, tractors and restored
machinery on display.
I
would also like to integrate aircraft and vehicle displays where
possible to illustrate the historical links between manufacturers
and to put relevant vehicles in period context (e.g. 1930’s car with
1930’s airliner).
the event will feature military re-enactors, entertainment, trade
displays and various market stalls. There will be a 2-3 hour Air
Display each afternoon and a Twilight Display on Saturday as a
prelude to the night’s entertainment (Andrews Sisters Tribute Band).
Display participants will be offered free entry to the event (max. 2
adults and 2 children per vehicle) and will be expected to remain on
display for the majority of the day in return.

There is a also a fund-raising component to the event with 10% of
Nett profit being donated to Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia

Mini Owners club of
Queensland (Sunshine Coast Group) is running a week of runs in the
Sunshine Coast area in September to celebrate 50 years of the Mini in
Australia.
The mini will celebrate its 50th
birthday in Australia in 2011 and here on the Sunshine Coast we want you
to help us make sure we all have fond memories of this once in a
lifetime event.
How about 5 days of driving
our favourite little car on some great Mini roads in some spectacular
country with lots of like-minded enthusiasts with plenty of time to
visit some of the local attractions that the Sunshine Coast is famous
for. At the end of each day we can relax over a quiet drink and chat
about Minis.
And then to bring it all to a
suitable end your Mini and you are invited to attend our annual Mini
Muster at Carina State School in Brisbane on Sunday 11th Sept
2011.

PRO STREET SHOOTOUT GRAND FINALS

Over 130 Pro Street Stars and their Race
Cars will take to the track for the APSA Pro Street Shootout Grand
Finals on Saturday, with racing from the Pro Street Blown and Unblown,
Modified Street Blown and Unblown, True Street Blown and Unblown,
Outlaw 10.5, Outlaw Radial and Dial Your Own categories.
APSA co-owner and racer Johnny Wilson
said fans would not be disappointed by the quarter-mile show expected
from the turbo, supercharged and nitrous racers.
“Pro Street drag racing is all about
street car enthusiasts and car lovers alike, having the chance to watch
some of Australia’s fastest Pro Street cars battle it out furiously for
prize money and bragging rights,” said Wilson.
“This is our Grand Finals event and the
race is on to take out the championship in all categories”
Entry is $25 for adults or $20 for
students with ID, and children aged 13 and under enjoy free admission.
Gates open at 8am with Qualifying from 10am and racing from 1pm to
approximately 6.30pm.

record for the number of Mack Trucks assembled at the same venue at the
same time. It doesn't matter how old or new your Mack is you are welcome
to join us on the Saturday afternoon for the official count of the
"Mighty Mack Muster" .
