Concours d'Elegance is derived from the French
meaning "a Competition of Elegance" dating back to the 17th Century.
This is the first time that an event of this nature
will be held in Australia. This event will showcase approximately 200 of
the finest examples of the classic and prestige Vehicles, with 50 of
these vehicles competing for "Best of the Show" within their Classes in
the Concours d'Elegance.

estimated value in excess of $100 million will be on display for the

an application for the Concours or Display entry. Manufacturers and

Celebration 2010 Run
Celebration 2010 Run is being organised
by the same committee that organised the 1996 & 2001 Run to Canberra,
where 16,000 and 24,000 motorcyclists attended our National Capital to
celebrate motorcycling.
Well it's on again and this time
bigger and better in Sydney. We're expecting over 30,000 motorcyclists
to attend and encourage all to attend and make this the largest
motorcycle gathering in NSW and Australia.

In 2008 the Hunter Valley Private Hospital became the
Major Sponsor helping with the Media cost in promoting our Event, which
will now include TV, Radio and Newspaper Advertising in conjunction with
NBN, KOFM and Newcastle Newspapers, a great opportunity for the
Shortland Community.
All funds rose at this year’s festival will be going
towards upgrades to the children of Shortland Rugby League Facilities,
something the local and visiting children can enjoy.
