Full Historic Race Car Meeting
Eastern Creek International Raceway over the weekend
This meeting we are expecting over 300 cars of all the
usual Historic Groups.
Everything from Minis to Mustangs, MGs to Jaguars,
and of course the single seater and sports racing cars including Cooper,
Lotus, Brabham Chevron etc.
The fastest of the Historic cars lap Eastern Creek
quicker than the V8 Supercars, so action aplenty.

As normal access to the pit area is part of the
entry fee, so you can enjoy the sounds, smells and spectacle of racing

meet at the park near twin Shells at Wallsend, heading towards the
freeway. Meeting about 9.30am and heading off for the workshop around
10.00am. Then picking up any others at end of HWY at Beresfield, having
BBQ around 11.30—12.30 then heading over to Morpeth about 1.00pm or
2.00pm for coffee or what ever browse shops at your own leisure.
Cruise up to the
Historical town of Morpeth and on the way there stopping at our
Mechanical workshop at Unit3/30 Shipley Dr, Rutherford, we have a
lot more parking spaces, with the workshop open so that any VW
enthusiast can have a look over their car on the hoist and even give
their VW a grease.
Free sausage sizzle & soft drinks.
Please note that times may vary depending on number of cars that
show up.

Italian Connection Rally
the third Italian Connection Touring
Assembly (popularly known as The Italian Connection Trophy).
Starting from the Piazza Grande in
the Italian Forum, Norton Street, Leichhardt, on Friday 21 May the rally
travels to Melbourne, via overnight stops at Gundagai and Myrtleford,
arriving at The Piazza Italia in Lygon Street, Carlton, on Sunday 23
May.
In the tradition of Mille Miglia
you don’t necessarily need an Italian machine to compete - the event is
open to all European marques.

A weekend of non-stop racing featuring over 400
historic racing cars and motorbikes from the 1920s to the 1980s.
Celebrations include 100 years of Alfa Romeo and the
60th year of the local A7 Club.
