Old Bar Beach Festival

Old Bar Sport's Fields and Parks.

We run an Old Cars at Old Bar fun
display event on the Saturday.
This event is open to all pre 1975 vehicles.
Hot Rods, Street Machines, Customs, Vintage,
Veteran, Etc.
Shannons insurance are coming along and
sponsoring the trophies.

Community celebrates our Heritage
listed airstrip and our wonderful lifestyle. Kombi owners travel from
all over Australia to participate in a World Record attempt.
Last year, (2007), a new Australian Record for
Kombi Vehicles only was set with 198 Kombi Vehicles at the Show.
Gourmet food and wine participants
showcase the regions finest produce. Mega Markets and psychic Fair add
to the festivities. Kom B In the FUN.
a call is out for all owners of VW
Kombis, VW Transports and VW Half Cabins to assembly at Old Bar Beach to
better last years Australian World Record

Prizes will be awarded to
participants on the day for various categories such as the oldest kombi,
people's choice award. More information will be available on the day.
A
community event the whole family can enjoy attracting over 12,000
visitors last year.

The Warragamba/Silverdale Neighbourhood Centre will be hosting
Damfest 2008.
Damfest is a major event held in Warragamba. This is the 4th
year, previously the show was called the Warragamba/ Silverdale Car
& Bike show or community fair.
Damfest consists of a huge Car & Bike Show with 16 car categories
and 16 bike categories with awesome trophies to be won. There will
also be kids amusement rides, billycart racing, stalls, street
entertainment. Dora the explorer, shrek, Parachute jumping, live
bands and much more……

take the staters flag in 9 divisions ranging from our 7yr olds through
to the 6 senior groups. All fields are expected to have 10 or more karts
in their class which makes for exciting racing
Racing is due to start at 10 am and

and we have 36 events
scheduled for the day .
We have a full canteen to cater for

was established in 1956. The school is one of four public schools
serving the inner area of Fairfield City. The school is situated within
a residential area with the majority of children living within walking
distance of the school.
Fairvale Public School
is in need for some Air Conditioning units for the students class rooms.
As some of the class room can have temperatures of 40c in summer. So we
are holding this show in the grounds of the school to raise money for
the Air Conditioning units.
