Our Club has decided to organise a Saturday night at the
Drive-in. We would like to invite you all to join us.
Twilight cruise to the Drive In at Heddon Greta.
Meet at the Lone Star carpark at
Glendale at 5pm depart 5.20pm.
Cruise out through Toronto, Freemans Waterhole, over the Gap and through Kurri and onto the Drive In. Movie prices - 1 movie $20. 2 movies $25 At this stage we don't know what's on but will let you know as soon details are available. Sausage sizzle (sausage on a roll with sauce) $2.50 each.
The restaurant will also be open.

The Sydney Torana Club are holding a Charity Display Day in conjunction with McHappy Day on Saturday 22nd November, 2008. The venue is McGraths Hill McDonalds, on the corner of Windsor Rd & Groves Ave, McGraths Hill. All are welcome to participate in this event and help raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Children's Charities.
Entry fee is $15 per car up to Friday 31st October, and $20 after this date or on the day. Entry is open to all makes and models, with the first 100 entrants receiving a goodies bag. The display commences at 9am, with entrants asked to assemble by 10am if they wish to have their cars judged. There will be raffles and auctions held throughout the day, and the day will conclude with trophy presentations which will commence at 2pm.

Diamond anniversary, 60 years of Holden
Canowindra Showground. Canowindra
This show will include one of
the first Holdens ever made which belongs to Charlie, car number
46 of 112 made in 1948, (of these cars there are only 3
remaining). His car is valued at $1.2 million.
The show will also
include many other early & late model Holdens as well as other G
M cars.
There should be a lot of cars from out west + its open to all Holden clubs and any other interested groups.
The show is being held at
the showground at Canowindra for a $5.00 entry per person,
proceeds go to local charities.
Canowindra has wineries,
antique shops, galleries & coffee shops.
There are some other interesting places to visit in neighbouring towns like Cowra, Grenfell, Forbes & Parkes with the radio telescope otherwise known as the dish. (Parkes hosts the popular Elvis festival in January every year). Also don't forget just 33klms away from Canowindra is the friendly little town of Eugowra, where bushranger Ben Hall held up & robbed the gold escort coach, at Escort Rock.
Eugowra also boasts the famous
Fat Lamb Hotel, this is an interesting little pub with some
colourful locals.
