UMC 2011 NSW State Election Ride With the NSW state election looming in March the United Motorcycle Council has decided to hold an election ride in Sydney on Saturday, March 19 one week before the NSW election.
Meeting at the Rocks at a venue to be announced on the UMC NSW website, The ride will draw attention to the state of play on the anti-association laws but also which parties support the issues raised by the NSW Motorcycle Council. These include green slips, single seat registrations, lane filtering and the public promotion of motorcycling by all levels of government. The marshalling area will be uploaded on www.umcnsw.org.au as soon as it is approved. Meeting at 11am somewhere in the Rocks, there will be speeches at 11.30am followed by a mass ride through town. Be there or be square!

This show will be bigger and better than before and we'd like to invite you to once again join us for a fun filled day of great music, great food, market stalls, rides and games and (of course) lots and lots of classic motoring metal.
Open to all ‘classic’ vehicles including vintage & veteran, British, European & sports cars (including modern classics), Australian & American muscle cars, historic commercial vehicles, vintage, veteran and classic motorcycles and all other vehicles of interest - this show is sure to once again be a big hit. Trophies will again be on offer (in various categories) and lots & lots of prizes will be given away on the day. The 'booty' for this show will be bigger and better than ever.
As a special offer for this event, some of our local resorts, hotels & motels will be offering special discount rates for the weekend. Come for the day, stay for night and then enjoy breakfast at one our great cafes or resorts on Sunday morning before heading home.
