Ride4difference 2008
How about riding your bike, trike, scooter or whatever, onto the main arena of the Sydney showground? You can!
This year instead of the car park area we have secured the Sydney showground main arena as our muster point. This premier venue means much more media attention for the ride so Come On!! Lets fill it with bikes of all types.
We will ride from here to Harbord Diggers. If riders can register on the web this will help us to better organise the day. There will be a major prize draw for those who take the time to register. In past years I have asked for a $25 donation
This year I am asking riders to seek their own sponsorship from friends, workmates, etc. this should help us to raise more much needed funds. If you don’t want to seek sponsors then the $25 donation will be fine too.
AWA has donated a 42” LCD TV that will be presented to the individual that raises the most sponsorship amount. You have 2 months to raise funds so lets make this our best year yet.

Hi all
Interesting letter attached. Would be good if one or more of us could go to the court proceeding if possible I'm going to do my best to be there. Is at East Maitland Courthouse on this Monday 12th May at 2.30pm. There is also a “site visit” at the proposed Motorplex at 10.00am on Monday. The court proceedings are scheduled to take all week, with a judgment who knows when after that. Fingers crossed!!! Please pass this on to all those you may think are interested. Cheers

Hot Rod Reunion
Castlereagh Hall. Castlereagh. We are holding another Reunion/Nostalgia film & photo night for Hot Rodders & Drag Racers on Saturday 17th of May at Castlereagh Hall, (not far from the old drag strip). There will be videos, slides ,super 8, photos and any other memorabilia possible. The cost is $20 which includes nibbles, sausage sizzle, tea, coffee & soft drink. We are hoping to sell 200 tickets (as that's how many can fit in the hall) and any money left over after costs will be donated to Cancer Research. Also there will be plenty of Hot Rod parking. I thought I make take the
opportunity to tell you that the Motoring Clubs of Tamworth District
are combining to show their vehicles in the carpark of Bicentennial
Park, Kable Ave, Tamworth between 10am to noon to celebrate National
Motoring Heritage Day.
After this display the Clubs will break off and take a scenic tour to reform at the Kootingal Bowling Club where again the cars will be on display whilst members will enjoy the facilities of the Club.
