The Hay Mini Nationals
Hay. NSW an annual event which is held every June Long Weekend. Mini Car Clubs from throughout Australia have been visiting Hay for the past 37 years for this prestigious event, which includes a street parade on the Saturday, followed immediately by a show and shine. On Sunday, the fun begins with the Motokhana which is held on the local property "Birriwa”. Sunday evening is the presentation dinner which is a fancy dress. This is a fantastic spectator event, with approximately 100 minis competing in the Motokhana. Participants and organisers welcome spectators to the venue. Full HISTORIC Race meeting
" The HSRCA is pleased to announce that the thunderous Group C and Group A cars from not too long ago will be a feature of their Historic Race meeting at the famous Oran Park Grand Prix track at the end of June. These cars are the real cars (not replicas) that we all saw competing between 1973 and 1992 at places like Oran Park and Bathurst."
Run by the Historic Sports and Racing Car Association, this is the second of four Historic Race meetings this year. Featuring all the usual CAMS 5th category race cars, being the touring cars, sports cars, open-wheel and sports racing-cars and of course Regularity.
Sat qualifying from 9.00am and racing from 1.00pm, Sunday racing from 9.00am Entry costs, check the HSRCA website, includes pit entry and access to all spectator areas of the track, including the grand-stand.
Non-stop action with around 36 events planned for the weekend.
