Variety Bash 2011 Variety Baulkham Hills to Buccaneer Rock Bash The most novel and colourful event on the calendar for the past 26 years, the NSW Variety Bash is set to make its departure from Sydney. Given that since its inception in 1985, it has been tradition for the Bash to start and finish at a destination starting with the letter B, detouring through some of NSW most remote regions including Inverell, even crossing the border into Longreach and Mt Isa and travelling through the Northern Territory before completing the 11 day journey to the most westerly point of Australia.
