One of the most exciting, thrilling sights to see. Imagine two of these awesome Hydros, with rooster tails cascading high in the air as they achieve speeds in excess of 170mph, (300Km/h) down the Liquid Quarter mile.
Australia's leading driver is Tony Williams, current President of the Drag Boat Racers of Australia, (D.B.R.A.), and his hydro, Reflections. He has achieved a high status in the world of Drag Boat Racing. Tony has held the title of Australian BAH, (Blown Alcohol Hydro), Champion, and is a former state and International representative.
The D.B.R.A. is actively seeking interested persons, male or female, to assist in the development of this awesome sport in Australia. Crews are needed for some Hydros and also Officials are urgently required to be able to run various meetings. You do not need a boat - just an interest in being involved, and a willingness to assist.
