Not many kids can have the opportunity to assist in major bushfire, state of emergency, danger periods. Billy-Joe assisted his Dad at Hawkesbury Fire Control. Wilberforce. NSW, during the State of Emergency fires of Xmas 2001 and New Year 2002.
Aside from a Community Certificate from the Mayor of Hawkesbury, B.J. received a Certificate of Recognition from the NSW State Government. Billy-Joe also appeared on Channel 9's Today Show. This portrayed the number of kids that started fires but featured Billy-Joe as an 11 year old who worked 230 hours to help put them out. Sixteen (16), hour days at the start and then twelve (12), hour days after the first two weeks. This was a demanding time on all Firefighters, and Dad is very proud of his dedicated son.
Billy-Joe, (now 19), is a proud member of Grose Wold Rural fire Service, and looks forward to fully assisting in fire fighting control. Displayed are his Certificates from the NSW State Government and Hawkesbury City Council.
September 2006. Billy-Joe attains his BF, (Bushfire Certificate), qualification and is a qualified Firefighter.

Extravaganza Motor Gymkhana, during March 2003. 12 years of age he drove Dads 1981, 351 Cleveland powered XD
Ford Station Wagon to victory in this class.

Billy-Joe's dream car destroyed by scumbags 4/06/2010
Stolen from the yard at home, on Thursday night, 3/06/2010, the VK was then thrashed and driven erratically through the South Windsor Industrial area and then taken down Berger Rd. South Windsor. NSW, and torched, after crashing off the road. Confirmed group of six people believed involved.
